Six documents relating to the town of Morrisania during the period when it was part of Westchester County. Included are deeds and conveyances from 1804-1805; and undated list (the final entry is dated 1848) of the original lot owners of Morrisania, giving names, addresses, lot numbers, and prices paid; an 1840 deed signed by Gouverneur Morris; a typescript copy of the annual report of the chief engineer of the Morrisania Fire Department, 1866; and a list new badges for use of the Morrisania Fire Department, dated June 12, 1871.
